How do I choose an invoice layout?
Pick the Classic, Modern, Minimal, or Bold layout on the final step and preview exactly what your customer sees.
The last wizard step, Layout & review (step 5), is where you choose how the finished invoice looks and check it over before creating it.
Pick a layout
- On the Layout & review step, find the layout picker.
- Choose one of the four layouts:
- Classic — the default.
- Modern.
- Minimal.
- Bold.
- The live preview on this step updates to show what your customer will see with the layout you picked.
The preview panel is labelled What your customer sees — use it to confirm the layout, totals, and notes all look right before you create the invoice.
Review before you create
This step also runs preflight checks and shows the invoice totals alongside the preview, so you can catch problems before the invoice goes out.
Once you are happy with the layout and review, you can save a draft or create the invoice — see the next guide.
