How do I share a form?
Share by public link, private single-use links, embed code, or QR code.
Once your form is ready, the Share tab gives you several ways to get it in front of respondents.
Public link
A single link anyone can open and submit.
- Open the Share tab.
- Find the Public link. If the form is published, the link is Live; if it is still a draft, the link is Created and goes live when you publish.
- Use Copy to copy it, or Open link to preview it.
- Share it directly via Email or Text.
You can also Rotate the public link (which replaces it with a new one) or Revoke it (to switch the public link off).
The public link depends on the paid public forms entitlement. Without it, the public link will not work — use private links below instead.
Private links
Private links are single-use — each one can be used for a single response. This is ideal when you want to control exactly who responds.
- In the Share tab, choose to Create link.
- Add an optional Label to help you remember who a link is for.
- Send each private link to one recipient.
Embed on a website
Use Copy embed code to get a snippet you can paste into your own web page, so the form appears inline on your site.
QR code
Use Download QR to save a QR code image. It is handy for printed materials or on-screen displays — people scan it to open the form.
Rotating the public link is a quick way to invalidate an old link that has been shared too widely, while keeping the form and its responses intact.
