What settings can I configure?

Control submission behaviour, scheduling, response quota, notifications, and anti-spam.

The Settings tab in the builder controls what happens around a submission — the message respondents see, when the form is open, how many responses you accept, who gets notified, and spam protection.

After submission

  • Closing message — the message shown after someone submits.
  • Redirect URL — send respondents to a web address after they submit instead of showing the closing message.

Schedule

  • Opens at — the form starts accepting responses at this time.
  • Closes at — the form stops accepting responses at this time.

Scheduling lets the form open and close automatically without you republishing or closing it by hand.

Response quota

Set a maximum number of responses to accept. Leave it blank for unlimited responses. Once the quota is reached, the form stops accepting new submissions.

Notifications

  • Notify email — an address that receives a message for each new response.
  • Autoresponder to respondent — send a confirmation to the person who submitted.

Anti-spam

  • Require CAPTCHA — add a CAPTCHA challenge to reduce automated (bot) submissions.

For a public sign-up form, turn on Require CAPTCHA and consider a Response quota to keep submissions manageable.

Remember to Save, then Publish or Re-publish, for setting changes to take effect.
