How do I set up a custom domain and email sender?

Serve BunnyDoc from your own domain and send emails from your own address using white label.

White Label lets you replace BunnyDoc's domain and email address with your own, so the whole experience looks like it comes from your company. Open it from Settings → White Label. There are two cards — one for your custom domain and one for your custom email sender.

This is a paid feature

White label is gated by your plan. If you don't have access, you'll see an upgrade tag — visit Billing to upgrade or buy the add-on.

Custom domain

  1. In the Custom domain card, enter your Custom origin (the domain you want to use) and click Save.
  2. Click Generate record to get a TXT record — copy its name and value.
  3. Publish that TXT record with your DNS provider.
  4. Click Check DNS. Once the record is found, the status moves to verified.
  5. Turn on the Enable toggle (it stays disabled until the domain is verified). The card then shows your Active origin.

The status badge tracks progress through inactive, pending, verified, or failed.

Custom email sender

  1. In the Custom email sender card, choose a verification method: Whole domain or Single mailbox.
  2. Enter the From email, From name, and Reply-to email, then click Save sender.
  3. Click Start verification:
    • Whole domain mode shows DNS records to publish.
    • Single mailbox mode sends an email — follow the click steps in your inbox.
  4. Use Check status to refresh, or Resend if needed. Once verified, turn on the Enable toggle. The card then shows your Active from address.

Verifying a whole domain lets you send from any address on it, while single-mailbox verification only covers the one address you confirmed.
