How do I connect the Stripe account used to collect payments?
Connect Stripe Connect so you can collect payments on documents and invoices.
The Payments tab connects a Stripe account so you can collect money from your customers on documents and invoices. Open it from Settings → Payments.
This is separate from your billing card
This Stripe connection is used to collect payments from your customers. It is different from the card you use to pay BunnyDoc, which lives under Billing → Payment.
This is a gated feature
The Payments tab is controlled by your plan's payment-settings entitlement. If you don't have access, you'll see an upgrade tag — visit Billing to upgrade.
Connect your account
The card shows a status: Connected, Action required, Onboarding incomplete, Disconnected, or Not connected.
- When Not connected, choose Connect existing to link a Stripe account you already have, or Create new to set one up.
- Complete Stripe's onboarding steps in the window that opens.
- Use Refresh status to update the card after you finish.
After connecting
- If the status is Onboarding incomplete, click Continue setup to finish Stripe's requirements, then Refresh.
- When Connected, the card shows your Stripe account ID, a payouts warning if any action is still needed, and a Disconnect option.
If a step doesn't seem to register, click Refresh status — the connection state updates once Stripe confirms your changes.
