Templates

How do I share a template with my team?

Give teammates access to a template — or a whole folder of templates — using Allow and Deny.

Templates are company-scoped, and you can grant specific teammates access to them. Sharing a template gives full access to it — there are no separate view-only or edit-only tiers.

Share a single template

  1. On the Templates page, open the template's row menu.
  2. Click Share with team. The Share template modal opens.
  3. For each teammate, choose an effect:
    • Allow ("Can access") — grants access to the template.
    • Deny ("Denied") — explicitly blocks access.
    • Revoke — removes the explicit setting so the teammate falls back to their role's default access.
  4. Save. The modal notes that "Changes apply when you save."

As the modal explains, "Sharing grants full access to this template." There is only one access level — anyone you share with can work with the whole template.

Share a whole folder

  1. Open the folder's menu and choose to share it. The Share folder modal opens.
  2. Use the same Allow / Deny / Revoke effects for each teammate.
  3. Save.

Sharing a folder grants full access to every template inside it — now and in the future. It is the quickest way to give a team access to a whole set of templates.

Access tags in the interface are hints only. The actual permissions are enforced on the server, so a teammate marked Denied cannot reach the template regardless of what the UI shows.
