What is bulk send?
Understand how bulk send generates one envelope per recipient from a single template.
Bulk send lets you “send a template to many recipients at once.” Instead of building an envelope for every person, you pick one template and a list of recipients, and BunnyDoc creates a separate envelope for each recipient automatically.
How it works
- You start from a template — bulk send always uses a saved template, not a one-off upload.
- BunnyDoc generates one envelope per recipient, so each person signs their own private copy.
- Recipients never see each other; every envelope is independent.
The single-signer rule
Bulk send uses the template's first external signer for every recipient on your list. Any additional signers defined on the template are dropped for the bulk run.
One signer per recipient
Because each generated envelope maps your recipient to the template's first external signer, bulk send is designed for documents that one person signs — like an NDA or a policy acknowledgement. It isn't meant for multi-party contracts where several different people must sign the same document.
Where to find it
- To start a bulk send, open Signing in the sidebar and choose Bulk Send.
- To see existing bulk sends, open Envelopes and go to Bulk Send.
